Amid mixed trends across Asian markets, Indian equity indices saw a sharp rally following U.S. President Donald Trump's announcement of an immediate 90-day suspension of trade tariffs for most countries.

The 30-share benchmark index ended at 75157.26 up by 1310.11 points or by 1.77 % and then NSE Nifty was at 22399.15 down by -136.7 points or by -0.61 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 75467.33 and intraday low of 74762.84 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 22468.7 and intraday low of 22353.25

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 133.45,+4.91%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (Rs. 304.20,+3.72%), NTPC Ltd. (Rs. 360.10,+3.25%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (Rs. 2111.50,+2.85%), Reliance Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1219.30,+2.84%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 2391.50,-0.76%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 3232.30,-0.43%), among others.
